Well you fucked up. because he doesn't have an under cut, he has a regulation cut. its just short back and sides but left quite low.

Also he doesn't pull his hair all the way back from the middle, they pull it to the side and then pull the side back.

Maybe this'll help, but get your sides grown out near the top, because your hair to be able to lean on something otherwise its gonna fall down and look shit.
