You are so used to seeing your mirror image that you'll always see yourself uglier on pictures. (Unless you have a really symmetrical face) The same happens if you put two mirrors next to each other (like the ones on elevators) and look at the reflection inside the mirror, you're seeing how you actually look, and most of the time you're gonna look ugly because your brain distorts the image because it's not used to it. Once I started to get used to it I actually realized my picture image actually looks better than my mirror one lol (my face is p asymmetrical and my jaw is smaller on the right side)
