>Never bought Chucks because wide feet
>Buy into the meme because everyone talks about how they're the quintessential sneaker like >>11837021

Been at most five months of casual school and gym usage and they're literally falling apart with the eyelets just hanging by a thread.

Fat neanderthal anglo-saxon feet peasant detected. Stick with skechers relaxed fit lmao.

They ended up comfy after I broke them in the problem is that breaking them in fucking destroyed them apparently.

I've had multiple pairs of different chucks throughout my life, and never had that issue. My beaters got trashed really fast cause of skating/biking, but never from just normal wear

>> No.11838441

>>11838219

I had a pair that lasted about 4 years under daily use.
But you should avoid wearing those on rainy/snowy days. Get decent boots for those.

I want to cop a pair of chuck lows, should I go with the classic design or chuck IIs? I kinda like both but never seen chuck IIs irl

I don't understand why people complain about them being uncomfortable. They're the most comfortable pair of shoes that I own. I can wear them all day with no problems.

I'm not an orthopedic surgeon or anything but I would think it has to do with how flat footed they are. People used to years or shoes with arches probably find it difficult adjusting. Ultimately flat foot shoes are gonna be better for you though.

Oh, that makes sense. I've been wearing flat-footed shoes for my entire life and find arches uncomfortable.
