Not really. That's how most people think of it now. I hate that stupid "manly" shit. Beards are gross. Hair buns and ponytails are for girls. Please stop.

Gee fuckin wiz, thanks for informing a board about fashion that trends exist

The left haircut has been on longer than the right one, so no. The nu-male undercut manbun + beard shit will be remembered like that though (imagine that it already looks bad)

This. Beards were always a thing. Manbuns were always a thing. They'll remain being things. Its those fuccboi tier undercut/4inch pseudo-manbun comcinations that will look ridiculous in a couple of years. Hell, they already look dated.

I agree. I don't mind undercuts or beards themselves but the flannel shirt beard undercut style makes me cringe desu looks like overcompensating for lack of masculinity considering most people that have this style are numales

wait are people still un-ironically using the word nu-male?

Forced meme. I don't think anyone really ever thought it was funny or insightful, but like cuckoldry and baneposting if you post it often enough people will eventually join in.

undercuts have been a thing since forever too. Manbuns have never been popular in the west

No, people with long hair have always used manbuns to keep their hair out of the way.

The thing is, the beard/undercut combo has had a longer life than the mullet stache ever did.

An interesting thought: with the Internet, cultures are becoming more mixxed, there's less of a Chicago/New York/L.A etc aesthetic since everyone can get inspo so easily from social media. Because of this, fashion has gotten more democratic, fads and trends are no longer hard lined.
I'm gonna guess the under-beard is Finna be popular for a long time, while new haircuts and trends join it. I imagine in the next 10 years there are going to be way more people with diverse wardobes, and a less authoritarian policing of trends.

Trends both catch on, and die faster cuz the internet too.
