So i'm starting to see less people wearing skinny jeans and more people going for wider jeans again, especially highly cuffed and since womens and mensfashion are quire similar these days i was thinking about getting 501ish jeans in the future, light ones because i mostly have darkblue and black jeans. What do you think will come next after the skinny jeans?

Don't wait until the future. Every single person will be wearing them by then. If you get them now you can look a little less like a trend chaser. Or you can keep your skinny jeans for when it's back to that in a couple years.
