I need to build a capsule wardrobe, what's your advice effay?

I'm going to be traveling to Brazil to teach English, and obviously can't bring everything I own in a suitcase. I need to look presentable enough. I'm from a sub tropic region so I'm used to the climate and what not. I have no idea where to start though.

the climate is different in each region of Brazil, care to answer where are you heading to?

but i would pack at least 3 pants and a bunch of t-shirts, in this season temperature can reach up to 40C

pack some shirts (button-down), a couple of denim pants or chinos and a pair of casual sneakers.
