I like desert boots, but they aren't manufactured in my width. What are some acceptable alternatives? Quality isn't too big a deal to me, I don't expect to hand them down to my grandchildren or some shit and my dogs tend to accidentally scratch shoes with their claws anyway.

I got this vintage windbreaker thinking it was Lacoste, only to find the tag says Alligator. I'm pretty pissed about that but i cant find any info on this anywhere. raw denim usually looks fine with sneakers but it's a bit of a meme
boots also good, be sure to realise how pants will stack on top of the boots, pick your jeans wisely

Hello fbg.

I am looking for some new sneakers for the winter. I am looking primarily for shoes which will be durable and last at least a year. I tend to walk a lot so my shoes get worn out fast, I had converse that only lasted three months so now I am very wary about buying shoes without checking out their durability first.

To this end I am looking for shoes which are leather (patent/synthetic also acceptable if of good quality), and have a stitched sole (not the vulc cup sole crap).

I think this leaves me with options like af1, stans or reebok club c85. The reeboks seem to be sold out everywhere so that leaves with me af1 or stans.

My question is: are these two shoes the best options for durable leather sneakers, and if so which should I get?

Yeah, the waist does seem a bit big. They're not falling down or anything, but I can easily put more than 3 fingers in there. Overall I really like them. For the price they seem incredibly well put together.

Here's another less flattering shot. The silohuette doesn't look as crisp here. I've been wearing slim fits for so long, I can't really tell if they fit right or not.

How do I get good fitting pants? I can't seem to find pants that are fine on my thigh area. I wear 38/32 but they are tight on the thigh area, but if I wear 40/32 it's too baggy. What do? Also, are Levi's meme pants or should I stick to them?
