What's your opinion on wearing this/ showing it over a shirt?
I know it's something basic and not really remarkable, but I don't know if I should wear it visibly. Not sure if it looks good.
I've never worn necklaces so I can't really say.

I'm gonna wear it regardless, under my shirt it because it means something to me.

510 is skinny, 511 is slim.
511 doesn't taper at the bottom
510 is skin tight

shoes -> depends what shoes, what style of clothing, what cute of jeans...

you're giving nothing mate.

some black/dark/raw unwashed jeans with heavy taper can be worn with sportier shoes - else steer clear from too sporty sneakers.
lightwash jeans pair nicely with retro looks by nike (monarch, tech challenge, icarus, airmax94/93)
raw denim usually looks fine with sneakers but it's a bit of a meme
boots also good, be sure to realise how pants will stack on top of the boots, pick your jeans wisely

Hello fbg.

I am looking for some new sneakers for the winter. I am looking primarily for shoes which will be durable and last at least a year. I tend to walk a lot so my shoes get worn out fast, I had converse that only lasted three months so now I am very wary about buying shoes without checking out their durability first.

To this end I am looking for shoes which are leather (patent/synthetic also acceptable if of good quality), and have a stitched sole (not the vulc cup sole crap).

I think this leaves me with options like af1, stans or reebok club c85. The reeboks seem to be sold out everywhere so that leaves with me af1 or stans.

My question is: are these two shoes the best options for durable leather sneakers, and if so which should I get?

Other suggestions are more than welcome. safe

hello /fa/ second time I come here, first time I got a sense of the pieces I should be buying to look like a basic but well dressed individual, but I need your advice again, I own 2 pair of 510s (black and lightwash) that I'm making my everyday wear, I always wear them with vans but I want to change that and I don't know what should I buy. I know this board loves stan smith but they are kinda overplayed here where I live though I don't think that would be a problem, anyway the question is if there's any other sneaker I should be looking. I plan on going to a store and try them on thursday but I'm not good at shopping without knowing what I'm looking for.

Okay, I live in a nordic country and am 24, and this is pretty much what I wear ATM. Mostly consist of Uniqlo, OL, Norse, and some other stuff. Any tips on what to get next? I kinda like some kinda "scandi street wear", like APC and Norse mixed with some low key interesting pieces, like Visvim albacore would be cool. Some japanese streetwear and comfycore look nice too.

Currently on my list are some kinda charcoal or black overcoat and black shoes, derbies or CP mids maybe. Any inspo or tips on brands that aren't that well known? I'm kinda lost on where to go from here.

seems bretty gud wardrobe m8-o
you don't need shit to be honest
save up and get something more expensive maybe if you feel that's your thing, but don't get something new just to get something new you could live with that wardrobe for good 10 years and look million bucks daily if you were content with it
would definitely recommend getting black derbies, can't really recommend any brands though, I'd also get some black boots cause they are great for winter and personally just like em
you are kinda on the ideal point where you have nice enough basic wardrobe and don't need anything, the best thing to do is just lurk different fashion media and juts generally find your own way, stop asking here for advice at least, get the confidence to have your own style and make your own decisions you can stand behind

You have all the time though cause like I said your wardrobe is fine as it is.
the most important things are to have realistic image about yourself, how you look and how you're build and be cool with it, after you have realistic image about yourself it's way easier to realize what looks good on you and works on your body
aside from that lurking a ton gives you broad perspective on everything you could potentially wear, you can like shit without needing to own it, find something that feels you, resonates with you on some level and start there if you feel like you want to get deeper in to fashion

Got myself a pair of Norse Projects Aros heavy chino. Any thoughts on the fit? I bought them true to size, but I feel like I should have sized down at least one 1.

they do fit a size bigger, at least in the waist
their slim fit besides that is the best fit a pair of pants can have in this price range

Would they really shrink that much? I've had chinos shrink before, but nowhere near as much as unsanforized denim. I'm a bit wary of them cause I won't be able to exchange them afterwards.

>>11782281

Yeah, the waist does seem a bit big. They're not falling down or anything, but I can easily put more than 3 fingers in there. Overall I really like them. For the price they seem incredibly well put together.

Here's another less flattering shot. The silohuette doesn't look as crisp here. I've been wearing slim fits for so long, I can't really tell if they fit right or not.
