Try skipping meals. I only eat dinner but I can eat whatever I want for dinner. So I'm dreaming about a hamburger or pasta or whatever all day and then at 6pm I'll eat as much as I want, but it's always below my required calories. Just don't eat too fast, you'll feel full sooner than you would if you'd been eating all day. Your stomach shrinks. Might work for you.

Just an experienced nutritionalist coming through to say that starving yourself will only end with you constantly being self conscience and depressed. The best way to diet is simply by eating healthy. Not cutting meals. That's means no processed foods and exclusively natural foods. For example I make a banana and mixed berry smoothie in the morning for breakfast, a turkey, provolone, arugula sandwich for lunch, and maybe pasta/a sandwich/ shrimp tacos/ mixed meat platter (salami, prosciutto, fine cheese, grapes/ other fruit). I'm an athlete and I function off of this and I can say it is a very clean way to eat. Lots of fruit and protein, that's your route to a healthy lifestyle. Simply starving yourself and not even working out will leave you looking like a holocaust victim. Honestly, nobody finds a skinny fat emotionally insecure millennial attractive. TDLR; EAT HEALTHY AND WORK OUT AND YOULL LOSE THE WEIGHT AND BE ATTRACTIVE. The working out part will tone parts of your body that people find attractive (butt, legs, maybe arms biceps if you're a guy) and this can literally be just cardio. Starving yourself will only lead to a sad, pathetic case of crippling anorexia that you will never get over. Whatever way you're starving yourself, STOP and follow my advice. You can feel good and lose weight. It's not hard. Formerly 270 pounds, currently 180, 6'4" athlete.

If you keep doing this until you're full all cravings will go away after a while, and you can start doing intermittent fasting which is gonna be easy. I've been on 4chan for almost ten years now and the recipe for a comfy thread is to be super friendly, contribute, form discussion (open questions help, questioning other anons, always asking a question back when they ask you a question, etc), and disarming negative posts. There is a bit of a judgement here that comes from experience, but, if there is a negative post that you aren't sure is a troll post, you respond with something very friendly despite their negativity. If you have a few niceposters (niceposting isn't just a meme if you don't treat it that way and are genuine - which is the key), it goes a really long way. I've seen using this method work on even r9k, where someone trolling will often buckle and be kinda friendly because you've asked how their day is going and shown them love. A lot of shitposters aren't really bad people, they're just shitposting for keks and if they get an opportunity to have someone talk to them and show them love a lot of times they'll take it and it can be really magical. What doesn't work is responding with more shitposting, or staying completely quiet and letting the shitposting overflow the thread.

That easterposter, for example, I talked to and he's soft as taffy and really friendly. He's just a shitposter and that's fine. And the different type of shitposters, the /pol/tards and robots, posting bitter comments want nothing more than a chat most the time it just takes you to get them going.

I'm not saying I'm right, but, just give it a go.

tl;dr contribute and nicepost constantly and be kind to /everyone/, especially shitposters and negative types, to keep the thread comfy. It grows a thread culture of comfy.

You'll get there love. You can't be eating 700 calories and not losing weight though, I think your problem is accounting for the calories you are eating. More are getting snuck in there. thnx anon. i have to have bloods every 2 weeks though i've never had one come back that raises any concerns oddly enough. observation is weird - i basicallt just spend 20 mins at the doctor's each week, doctor asks me how i am, takes my blood pressure and weight. bp is always low but i've maintained a weight for the last 2 weeks so it really isn't bad, the doctor is nice and very casual. i have refused therapy though from specialists because it just feels like they're forcing me into recovery, for example, 'you'll have to have sessions with your whole family' and 'you're not recovering until your periods come back' and having had therapy which i ended up lying my way out of for anxiety before i don't feel like it's worth the time or effort. i just see straight through their methods of treating me i guess. the weekly doctor's appointments are just chilled though, i have no issue with them and they're almost informal if that makes any sense.

thnx anons. my meals are very very scattered at the moment but to list some of my favourites:
- 100g honey/natural skyr, 90g banana, 2 blueberry & vanilla rice cakes
- oat so simple instant porridge sachet (best flavours imo are maple & pecan or vanilla & honey) topped with a selection of: banana, raspberries/blueberries/strawberries, marshmallows, milkyway chocolate bar
- cereal + coconut milk (banana weetabix and rice krispies are my favourites)
- homemade butternut squash or leek & potato soup with 1/2 a part-bake baguette (these are really good calorie-wise for bread, 182 cals for half and i can get a lot of slices out of it)
- 2x plain rice cakes topped with 1 fried egg & ketchup, veg sticks or salad on side
- homemade bowl of vegetable chili that my mum makes

i really struggle with variation - most of my go to foods are 'breakfast' foods and currently i'm just snacking a lot and having pizza and somehow maintaining.

thnk u anon but i'd kill to have your muscle tone - that's unfortunately what i lack most of all. i personally think you great and don't need to lose anymore but to break your plateau you might need to mix up your daily calories a bit. i lost a great deal of my weight (around 30lbs) intuitively eating and even then i must've been at around ~1400 cals a day. when my ED is at it's worse i still never have a net intake lower than 800 otherwise i become very ill/lightheaded. maybe eat a bit more and go for an extra run? a change in intake and amount of exercise should give your metabolism a bit of a kick

not sure who you were directing this at but i used to be a uk size 10 (us 6) and now if it's a tight-fitting top or bottoms with a non-elasticated waistband i'm a size 4 (us 0), elasticated bottoms i can fit into a size 6 (us 2, these are much easier to find in shops) and if it's a top that supposed to be loose or baggy fitting i'll still buy a 10 or something.

i did once try a cute size 4 skirt on in tk maxx that somehow sagged around my waist, elastic waistband and all. and i've also got shorts from there that are a uk 8 (us 4) that fit tight as a glove. clothing sizes are hard work

Hey everyone, I'm 5'5 118 lbs, I wanna drop to 110 at least but I feel like I'm stuck at this weight. Undereating doesn't really seem to help me it somehow makes me more bloated (someone told me it's my body going into starvation mode and storing whatever fat it can to survive).

Ive also always wanted really skinny legs but whatever excess fat I have seems to go to my legs and ass (I somehow have a thigh gap but my legs are abnormally big compared to the rest of me). Am I just fucked by genetics or is there anything I can do to get skinny legs?

imma tell you what

as long as you can look good in clothes you're good

overly skinny girls are be less sexy than regular/skinny girls. theres something just too boyish about having really skinny thighs.

i say this as a man that fucks fashion models on the regular, regular weight girls look better and are better in bed

then again, it's your body, you do you

How many calories are you eating? I'm also short (5'3") and a girl (don't have hypothyroidism though) and I eat between 1000 and 1200 calories a day and I'm fine. I drink an espresso if I get sleepy during the day.

>>11717285
Same q for you, how many calories are you eating? Also, a pic would help but yeah, everyone has set proportions and you can't spot-reduce fat unfortunately.

I don't really care what guys think about it desu, I've always hated how my legs looked. They're chubby around the thighs and knees (pic relate) and just don't have a nice shape them, ugly calves etc. My torso is smaller so it looks off balance. I don't exercise because I'm lazy but also because I don't wanna gain muscle and have my legs look even bigger. If anyone knows what can help that would be awesome, I try googling but there are so many conflicting opinions idk.

Also if anyone has tips to eat less on a vegetarian diet and not be starving.... I feel like all I eat are carbs.

I try tracking but I'm pretty bad at it. Like i said above I eat way too many carbs... I try to stay under 1400 and on paper I do but who knows. Pic from front if that helps.

Maybe your legs are slightly bigger than the rest of you but I really don't think you look disproportionate. When you're short, you have to go pretty low to get really skinny legs. When you say you eat carbs, do you mean like pasta and bread? Try eating lots of fruit and veggies. Have you looked at the model diet manual? They have several recipes in there and a lot of them are vegetarian. Also, tracking your meals properly is defo important and helpful.

Lol that's why I'm here.... problem is I don't lose weight from my legs, it's everywhere else first.

>>11717491
Yeah pasta and bread and junk in general, I don't gain weight so I just eat whatever makes me full. I wanna lose those 8 lbs, though. I'll check out the model diet, just scared if I don't eat enough as I'm prone to getting lightheaded.

wot? why is there blood? period?

>>11717468
Protein is tough on a vegetarian diet, especially a very low calorie one, but maybe try to work in some quinoa, peas, almonds, and soy milk. Have a soy latte in the morning.

I think for exercise you could try running a bit or even walking. That doesn't put mass on very much. Look at a long distance marathon runners legs compared to a sprinters.

What do you look like with shorts on that lay a little bit lower on your body? I think the high rise meme might be aggravating your concern about being thicker at the thighs, higher rise shorts will make you look more so.

Uh, you should probably go to the hospital friend. Unless you mean your period, blood coming from anywhere is not a good sign.

its time i help all of you bitches.

if you don't have 'good genes' for being thin (bone structure) then you need to work out. you average looking dykes aren't going to get bulky by releasing some high and even some test. it will make you look a lot better in all your clothes.

Thank you for offering your help! How are you today?

I have back problems so working out is an issue, but, hoping I can get some more exercise soon. Maybe it will get better :/

Oh I wouldn't wear that outside, just slept in it. I avoid high rise or anything that cuts off at my thighs. Walking my dog is pretty much the only exercise I get lol. Running is probably not for me, do you know of any exercise routines that could be effective? I guess I need something structured that I can follow to keep me motivated.

People keep saying soy is awful for you but I do drink it a lot anyway. Thanks.

You could go for long walks and do some yoga. Everything is bad for you if you eat/drink it too much, just keep it in moderation. That's just one with a lot of protein compared to almond or something.
