they're made in America, and depending on what brand you buy, they'll run between 75-150 bucks
ORC and Beyond Clothing are gonna be a lot cheaper than Patagonia (their jackets can go for upwards of 300-400 bucks depending on the style, since you have to be US Special Forces or a military sniper to get some of those clothes), and the build is superior; but they all pretty much look the same, to be honest

and yeah it's a gargantuan step up from that bad nylon jacket, which will give you a heatstroke since it's basically a sauna suit
