All this coffee talk got me paranoid, I'll look up for more researches about it when I'm not on phone
I'm in process of quitting energy drinks, so I'll try to experiment with and without coffee without changing my food intake. Not sure yet what period of time is a good way to judge it's effects, I'll look it up later. I can say my sleep improved since quitting caffeine after 9am. For a short while I completely quit but, I ended up buckling because it's comfy to have a cup first thing in the morning.

The energy drinks are for sure horrible. I quit those a while back and I'm very glad I did.

I'm actually less tired on this much reduced caffeine intake than I was when I had a bunch (I used to get triple shot lattes in the morning, then have some sugarfree red bulls in the afternoon, etc.. I was horrible).

My friend is a sleep medicine doctor (pulmonary care, does those sleep studies and such) and told me to quit and get on a sleep schedule. Schedule helps a lot because your body knows when it release the wakefulness hormones or whatever they are called.

Thanks for that, btw. That's going to be very helpful for me. I already knew most of those foods were the optimal diet for "us", but this will help me keep my perspective and not forget to do what's right for me. There was some neat info on WHEN to eat those foods. Fuck, I can verify this. I used to be a horrible insomniac. About a month ago, I started making myself get up at 5:45 every morning and go to the gym, no matter how little sleep I had gotten. For the first week, I'd end up taking a nap in the afternoons, but now it's evened out and I automatically wake up between 5:30-5:45, and am usually in bed by 10:30-11:00 and sleep through the night.
I still drink tea in the mornings (and sometimes the afternoons), but I don't drink coffee anymore.

Good luck. It's really funny when you get used to no caffeine, in the morning you are groggy like normal when you first get out of bed but then you feel your body wake up naturally. its hard to describe but you'll know what I mean.

The hardest thing about no caffeine is not the energy, which you'll find was bullshit anyways, but rather not having a comfy coffee in the morning or if you drank Diet Coke or something just having water.

why not eat a larger meal between lunch and dinner? The time, anyways. I had the same problem till I did IF. I eat around 12 for breakfast/lunch and eat a larger meal around 5. It keeps me satisfied till I go to sleep around 11. If not then eat a low cal snack around 3/4 hrs before bed.

The taste is hard to place but pretty overwhelming, I really can't handle it at all. I gagged the first time and had to spit it out. I still won't give head to completion anymore without a condom.

My boyfriend has kind of a shitty diet though, and he's the only guy I've tasted.
