I have normally clear skin but I wanted to be godlike, so I bought this facemask from lush called cup o coffee, and its making me break out immediately afterwards. Whats the deal here.

Pro tip, lemon water is super healthy for your skin. Doesn't cost as much as facial masks but it works slower and is good for you in more ways than one. Spice it up with some lime and maybe honey and mint. The fresher the ingredients the better.

Find out what your skintype is and use products accordingly. Stay away from products containing alcohol if you're dry and/or sensitive.

I know you guys hate Reddit but honestly it's a great place for skincare resources: https://www.reddit.com/r/SkincareAddiction/wiki/sca_routine

find out what type of skin you have
http://www.gardenofwisdom.com/profiles.html
if you have dry/normal, moisturize twice a day and use cleanser once
if you are oily or something similar, exfoliate and maybe get a spot-treatment
no matter what you should use sunscreen every day
https://www.reddit.com/r/SkincareAddiction/wiki/sca_routine actually has decent recommendations for products and more explanation

face masks won't make your skin "godlike," but a good chemical exfoliant and regular moisturizing might give it a bit more glow depending on the type of skin. there was probably some kind of fragrance or irritant in it that either didn't react well to your particular skin or it's just general cheap garbage.
