Coming to /fa/ because more helpful than asking friends- almost finished working with a salon and soon I'll get to chose my own hair style but I'm out of inspiration. I have a very elfin look so pulling off certain cuts can be tricky. Any advice on colour/ style? (I'm aware my skin looks like shit sorry if it's distracting. dat shiny nose)

i would say you should try to eat healthy so your skin looks good without the use of foundation. also, i think a dark color, and some length, would look good. embrace the elf look, just do it with long hair. you will ironically look more androgynous which is always /fa/

Would this haircut look weird on a grown man? I have this exact same hair type, and looking in the mirror, I could imagine it would look good on me, but I want to be sure. I don't really know what this style is called, so I can't really search for more people with this style. If you people know what this is called, can you post more pics of this specific style. what do I do with this mess? i use just some straight up cleansing shampoo and no conditioner. thinking about just letting it go out into a bit of a curly fro when I reach otter mode. i like this cut (if you can even call it that) but it's getting a bit boring, so i would appreciate the help (idk why im trying so hard not to smile in this pic wtf)

I have pretty dry hair. Like a year ago i stopped using schampoo( I use a moisterizing conditioner with silicones). That worked well when i had shorter hair, now im trying to grow it out on top and its reaching my upper lip. the ends are getting frizzy and maybe the last 3-4 cm are really dry. Any advice for what I can do?

I've been getting my hair buzzed to a quarter inch and then just letting it grow out for a while, but I want to try keeping it a little longer. How should I try getting it cut/how do I describe it? Should I just ask for the sides to be cut, how short should I ask for?
