Intermintent fasting will actually improve your energy levels, since you're feeling hungry your brain relases chemicals to your body for it to more effeciently and will also boost your metabolism because "you need to go hunt for some food" is just how the brain is wired

people will always be concerned about everything, but this is your life and you should do whatever makes you happy and not what any one else "believes" makes you happy.
this is a tough process I used to be 104 pounds at my lowest, being a 5'7 guy this worried people around and i got so brain washed by them telling me I wasn't happy (even tho I never was happpier) I started gaining weight, eventually I reached 145 which is a "normal" weight for my age, gender, height etc, but I felt like shit, disgusted, depressed, lost, so I decided to be who I want to be and not what everybody expects me to be, I'm around 115lbs today and I Feel how my life is already feeling so much better, I'm siling more, hanging out with friends way more often and just feeling so much better overall.
