try to match up what you look like to one of these then estimate your lbm (200 x .25, if youre 25%bf for example) and add 6-10% (would would mean you could only get down to ~160). Probably 120-130 lbs would be ideal at your height. Try to get in the habit of keeping good posture as you lose weight, if you have any spinal issues due to your weight it could help make you a little taller. Shoulders back, correct pelvic tilt(google it) and make sure you aren't hunching over too much or arching your back too much.

there are lots of questions like this every thread. what i recommend you do is use a bmi calculator and figure out what weight you need to be to reach 17-18 bmi or so. that should be your first goal, use the losertown link in the OP's pastebin to figure out how many cals you should per day to reach your desired weight by the time you wish.

Jean sizes tend to run big, at least here in the US. I guess it makes people feel better about themselves. So with a 30inch waist it is not surprising that you'd be wearing 28s.

Also always try every pair on, even if the same brand and cut, because the machines that slice the jeans cut on a bit of an angle and they are stacked. So the jeans cut on top are a tad bigger than the ones on the bottom. It's small, but enough to make a difference.
