How so? He has almost unrivaled comprehension of Hegel and has a great understanding of socialism/communism in general. Once you go beyond his "comical" exterior, he has a lot of great points and ideas

Fun fact - Hitchens was known by his comrades at school as "Hypocritchens" because of how much he hung out with rich people. Plus his whole outlook on religion is thoroughly un-Marxist, he refuses to see the material basis in Islamist violence. But yeah, he was pretty effay aside from that.
