Does anyone else have trouble sticking to a particular aesthetic? I can't seem to commit. How do you do it, /fa/m?

your problem is that you spend a significant amount of time on this shithole taking the advice of high school children too seriously

instead of concerning yourself with what's trending or what's a "meme", form your own opinions and buy things you like to wear

No. My problem is my tastes are very varied and a lot of the shit i like doesn't go well together. I'm not concerned about memes/trends. I'd just like to build a wardrobe around a particular style and stick to it not feel like none of my stuff is cohesive.

why do you feel the need to be a one trick pony

Have some basics and build a varied wardrobe from there. You don't need to stick to one core or style

Is Eleven Paris a good place to cop some basic stuff?

The pieces that you think "don't fit together" probably work better together than you think. Don't be afraid to try weird combinations

no. i exlusively dress in certain brands (mostly jap stuff) after many dollars spent and finding which aesthetic works best for my proportions. also, there's a big distinction with liking how something looks and that thing looking good on you. only experience can help you in this regard. be prepared to fuck up but know that fucking up will only help you narrow down what aesthetic works best on you.

also, there's beauty in uniformity and consistency. i now actually care about my clothes and view them as less of a commodity and more as an extension of myself. also, people will somehow feel your personality cut through your clothes.

that's how you end up looking autistic

You sound like you are way to insecure about what people think of the way you dress... Dress howevere tf you like and things will work out eventually, else you will end up just copying stuff and still be scared of judgement.

I just dress as minamalist as possible, never really dissapointed

>White or black tee
>Crewneck sweatshirts in low key colors like grey, navy, burgundy, forest green
>Lighter colored jeans that fit well
>comfy bent brim hats
>whatever shoes I'm feeling that day

Can't go wrong. You won't be some super fashion killa like /fa/ wants to be, but you'll never look awful.

You dont need to commit to a single core or style, but try follow multiple cores that are similar and complement eachother.

Currently my wardrobe is palewave, comfy-core, norm-core and bunch of Uniqlo shit. They mix and match pretty well imo

Begin with a basic wardrobe, with just plain easy matchable clothes. Then branch out in different directions from there.
