Get somthing like this, there's also the shoulder option to where they sit under your armpits if you don't want it across your chest. Put it on before your final layer and you should be good

I carry in a messenger bag. Appendix carry should be fine if you're wearing some kind of layer. If plain tees, go with the messenger bag with internal holster.
