the whole slacker core thing is probably the closest thing to strayan surf clothing, check out the whole comycore thing i think would fit but some of it is different. I'd recommend thrifting a lot since thats where you'll find the cool shit that the whole surfer look peeps wear. i think people are just unfamiliar and are taking it out on you it's pretty much slaclercore desu. maybe look at cool photos from hawaii and or parts of la. desu us strayans dont do the style the best in my opinion
