What do with this shit? I have had this haircut my whole life, I only changed it once back in September when I buzzed it, but it's growing back to its regular shape. It also looks shittier when I spend time outdoors and it kinda curls up and is a bitch to control. So /fa/, what do you think I should do?

Hey fa can you tell me where I can learn the haircutting business? Like the terms and what they look like. I think the best way of actually getting a new hair style would be to learn how hair cutting works instead of having these threads where people post questions and almost never have then answered since no one knows what the fuck they ate talking about. Just taking a picture to a hair place is retarded as well since not every place people go to is legit. As in the workers didn't get a formal education and people get haircuts that aren't even code to what they showed in the pictures. The sticky hasn't been updated in a long as time and barely helps. There needs to be some supplemental learning.

/fa/, please help, I unfortunately cannot post a picture of myself since I don't have access to a decent enough camera and my phone is broken, but my barber completely fucked my hairline.

Long story short is when he gave me the hard part I asked for, he also shaved away part of my hairline on that side, and now as its growing in its making me look like I'm balding.

Is there anyway to minimize this appearance without constantly shaving down my hairline? I have graduation in a month and really don't want to rock the buzz again.

I like the look of a bit longer HY. most modern day male cuts aren't really HY but regular undercuts, because HY don't have completely shaved sides but only half, pic related. With that said, post some grown out HY inspo with hair in the front because I've got a fivehead but I still like the classic look

So I have essentially a longer overgrown version of pic related. I really just need my hair trimmed, I like the 1980's business Patrick Bateman kinda look.

Does anybody have any similar pictures? Just medium long pushed back hair?

Also I've been going to an expensive salon for my haircut for awhile and I'm tempted to try a nice barbershop. Will a barbershop be decent at cutting and styling medium long hair or should I stick with a salon?

I've decided to grow my hair out, And I have a couple of questions. Should I take biotin? It's supposed to help your hair and nails, and I know its in prenatals which make women's hair grow like crazy. I figured I'd give it a shot. Also, what is the best type of hair oil? I've used the moroccan argon oil, and it didn't seem like it made a significant difference. Any oils that will help my hair grow faster, or keep my hair healthy throughout the process?

Trim sides and cut the sides and top section together, DO NOT cut an edge. Pull you hair on top more towards the back and up in a wiggly motion. Use salt water spray to give it more of a rough look. also, am I going bald? I feel like my hair is thinner than it used to be a year or so ago. Especially at the temples, it feels thin. Could it just be a hair washing issue? I'm 19.

None of the guys on my mom's side went bald until they were well into their 50s and 60s, but some of the men on my dad's side had receding hairlines as early as 25.

I look a lot more like the guys on my mom's side (they were short handsome athletic brunettes, same with me) than I do on the dad's side (tall, skinny, dark haired, kind of funny looking). I'm just hoping I didn't get all the shit genes.

Any recommendations? Hair is the one thing I am still completely unable to do well. I just do it short sides long top, as it's the safest shit to do, although it hasn't been cut in a while so it's starting to grow again on the sides.

Alright I've been going to the same stylist and getting the sameish haircut for 15 years or so. I now moved to Houston so this isn't an option and my hair is getting way to long.

Where do I go to get my hair cut, what the hell do I tell the stylist? I've never had to ask because my old stylist just knew, looking for a low maintenance style if that makes a difference, as in no styling in the morning.
