anyone have other pics, on feet preferred, of pull on ankle boots?

i wanted boots that I can wear slim pants (rick crepe pants, etc.) over and I'm having second thoughts about how the uppers on these will fit under hem. gotta figure out if I need to cop a different pair of creepers for that purpose

I almost copped the taller version of the pull on boot, but based on how wide the top needs to be to get a whole foot in, I didn't think it would work well with even moderately skinny jeans. Not sure though...it's still tempting. If you want to wear skinnier jeans over top, it's safer to go with creepers.

Anything with a slim ankle will do! But measurements in that regard are proportional to your waist. I wear a size 28 and anything with a hem below 7" tucks in well. I have some super skinny ones (~6") that I have no choice but to tuck, but I think it looks better with something a little looser. ACNE and Nudie would both be good choices for that sort of fit.

My super skinny are made by THVM and my looser ones are momotaro.

Does anyone ever inexplicably get caught up in a specific piece? Like youve worn it a million times, but suddenly it feels like youre seeing it for the first time

For example: i just took off my ramones after walking around in them all day, and I couldnt help but to just stare at them for a second and take in how nice they looked. The leather felt so supple and the entire silhouette of the shoe just struck me then, and I got this feeling of when I first bought the shoes and how excited I was. This happens sometimes mostly with my ramones, sometimes with my pods and anthem tee, I just cant help but take a second to appreciate how incredible of pieces they are.

Basically I have a 220 CAD (169.06 USD) Giftcard to this store. Obviously I know it's all super marked up and I'm willing to pay the difference. What of these items should I buy with that in mind? I want the best value.
I was thinking Pods at first but the mark up is pretty extreme and I know I can get an infinitely better deal.

Damn, that zipper looks exactly the same as the legit one on my intarsia. Tag is wack though. I would start with messaging him on eBay. When he (preumably) is a shit about it, start an eBay dispute. Under the right circumstances and if he isn't very cooperative, you can get it so that he has to refund your money but you don't have to send it back for him to try selling again.

It's expensive for a few basic reasons:

-People are willing to pay that much; so, the market prices it as such.
-High-quality of materials.
-Exclusivity.

I'm not a fan of acting like an asshole to someone who's seriously inquiring; Rick's sentiment is that his "world" isn't really for everyone and there's nothing wrong with that.

If you like it, pursue it; if not, there are other designers out there that might suit you better. His style is pretty niche -- not extremely niche, but niche enough that it has its own following.

The only way I stop mine from flaring is by sizing down and wearing with looser fitting bottoms that they can cling to or layered with other tees. So single shirt + jeans never really looks right, but prisoners and two shirts stacks hella nice.
