I like women in women's clothing, not men's. No one wants shit like this apart from a few tumblerinas, evidenced by the majority of people who dress like their fucking gender. I do not care much for Zara, but it's nice to see genderless fashion approaching.

Personally I think men's items are mostly uninspiring and leave little creativity, which limits expression (at least that's how I feel).
I personally wear female pieces too, but of course not everything looks nice on me, so it's a knife's edge of balance between tacky and cool. That being said, I personally have an issue with going outside wearing for example a skirt because of the social pressure and how (especially my guy friends at least) get insecure about the feminity associated with female pieces.

Hip hop culture and streewear are the new normal for men, and normal people now recognise nice fits. Mainstream female fashion is just dull fastfashion from Topman because they all insist on getting a new outfit each event. I'm not saying most women dress badly, but it is pretty dull

Yeah, I definitely agree with that. I'm not talking about wanting the male wardrobe to downgrade in quality, but rather expand in options. No piece of clothing is necessarily masculine or feminine, so you can play with ideas for "unconventional options" for men and make them look good.

Though I do not enjoy hypefashion and streetwear, I appreciate how broad and moving it is. It's great for fashion.

First: you know that first feeling you get when you see someone so much weaker, someone so damaged? That's why.

Second: the fact that you think it's a balance act between 'tacky and cool' wearing pic related as a guy, and that your friends are just insecure about it. They aren't. They just don't want to be associated with mentally ill people.

It would be a lot more acceptable if you didn't pass it off as normal and just admit that you want to be a kinky transvestite.

I definitely agree with both of you, especially on the streetwear thing. I still don't like the current state of fashion for men, however.

Streetwear has definitely caused a lot more men to become aware of how fashionable they are and so more men are trying to look better, but men are still pretty limited on what they can wear. On the contrary, women have almost limitless options available to them From skirts and sundresses to streetwear as well. They can wear anything from what is only sociably acceptable for women to everything men already wear, which gives them a lot of versatility. It's just a shame that most women dress like this nowadays (although I guess you could say most men dress the same too, but at least they have more excuses).
