i need help guys, long story short my mom was cutting my hair while she was sick and gave my a complete fubar haircut, she gave me a bald strip at the back of my head up half way up to my head up to where its on level with the top of my ears and the sides look like they've been plucked.

so now i'm going to a stylist tomorrow to get my hair fixed and don't know what exactly to get, my forelock is long, a bit uneven and reaches my eyebrows and the rest of the top of my hair is about 2 inches in length so im guessing i'm going to have to ask for some sort of under cut but don't want to lose all the side of my hair since im an oval faced fat fuck that can't really pull of that sort of hair style (5'8, 178)

pic related, i have that style right now but a slightly longer forelock, some bite marks on the side and a wide bald strip up to where the red line meets the man's ears. what do you guys suggest i get?

inb4 lose weight, ive been eating 4000 cal a week and lost 20lbs in 3 weeks and still going

So I've got a bit of an undercut going but my crown is all fucked up. I think I've got a more spiral crown shape so the hair at the front likes to go forward and towards my part.

I don't usually use any products or anything but can anything be done with some clippers to help when I next get a cut?

Could somebody explain to me the intricacies of what shampoo and conditioner actually do so I can make an informed decision? On the one hand, I've read that shampoo makes your hair get more oily if you use it, but on the other hand my barber says that my hair is naturally like that. I'm at a loss here.

This isn't really a big deal.

Conditioners make your hair shine and soft so it doesn't get tangled.

There are different shampoos because everyone is different, if we both used the same shampoo, it might make your hair dryer and it might make my hair moister.
You have to trial and error shampoos best for you.

You can train your scalp to go a few more days without washing, over time. Some people get into a habit of washing every day or else their hair becomes greasy the next day. If you use shampoo your hair will get greasy trying to replenish its natural oils but the thing is shampoos are useful, try and get some with more organic ingredients if you can.

I have this, I really hate it when my hair gets greasy, so I was worried that shampooing was actually making it worse somehow and that if I kept it up it would eventually get too greasy for shampoo. It doesn't seem to get that bad, though.

Hey guys, need some advice.

I have really curly dry hair with a fucking extreme widows peak, kinda lost the hair genetics lottery. If i don't condition and style it out like crazy it just spikes up and looks disgusting and frizzy, and if a drop of shampoo touches it it just drys out completely.

Is there any product I should be using to help with the dryness? I've been recommended oils in the past but i don't know what kind.

In addition to that, is there any kind of cut that would be flattering to curly hair with a widows peak? Will post pic if someone is willing to help

Never put any effort into my hair so I decided to maybe try something new. I usually just comb it to the side and not worry about it all day. Its curly af after about 2 inches so anything long and wavy might not work.

How to stop hair like this growing at the back of my neck, at least a way to prevent it from happening as quickly as it is now. I do go to the barbers every 3 or so weeks but the problem pisses me off as its noticeable within the first 2. here's the real solution.
Get a 1-2 cut on the sides and back and a trim on the top, after you shower comb thuroughly and wear a soft hat like a beanie pushing down to sleep. Invest in some type of putty, pomade, mousse, etc and style it in the morning. Make sure you dint get sweaty or the hair will stick out (this depends on how much you let it grow though)

it says in the side effects that it causes hairloss, I've been on them for 4-5 years, I am almost 22 now and my hairline is awful. The only person in my family that is bald is my uncle and he is 50, he still has a bit of hair left though. Everyone else in my family has really thick hair, I have very thick hair but only where it isn't receding. Should I try coming off prozac to see if it does anything?

asian hair is so fucking annoying. I used to have my hair short but now I'm wanting to grow it out. It's at that medium length but it won't stay flat, just sticks straight out. I've got pretty thick hair, which allows a lot to be done with it. However, it's extremely straight, and has hardly any volume without product.
Currently, I have a hitler youth cut, which I'd like to keep. What are some good products for some better volume/texture?
