fatso manlet 5'6.5 turned skinny fat. working on getting skinny. went from 220lbs to 135lbs over 2 years. plateaud at 130lbs but workin on getting it down.

I used to eat ham and cheese sandwhiches for lunch, have crackers and milk as a snack etc. and I couldn't control my hunger at all, ravenous.

Drop carb-loaded shit, eat protein-filled foods such as chicken(white meat obviously) or eggs nuts, greek yogurt. basically just go keto. Watch your macros on myfitness pal. What I've done is buy chicken breasts once a week, cook em, dice em up, and portion them out to 1.5 cups a day for lunch. for breakfast, two eggs, for a snack, a protein bar. Just eat a ton of protein filled foods and you will be able to keep your hunger under control. Oh, and drink a ton of water, your body only retains water weight if it feels it's not getting enough of it on a daily basis. Once you "flood" your body consistently, it will drop it's water retention. Good luck!

While I can't speak to your nutritional plan, that is way too much in the carb department. Unless there's a medical reason for that, I'd not do it. Carbs also - allegedly and according to /fit/ broscience I haven't bothered researching - retain water weight.

If you want to look leaner while still gaining weight, then muscle development is obviously an easy answer. Up your protein intake and go on some runs. If you want so-called "lean" muscle, it'd be most readily developed as slow-twitch muscle fiber, so do long runs and shit.

Impossible. Take it easy & steady because you don't want to end up way too "skinnyfat".

Reduce your daily calorie consumption. That's a great start. Go from 2200 (assuming this is your daily calorie consumption) to 1500, then after a while to 1200, etc.

Since you're way over the top go for daily walks in the park or neighborhood, whatever. Wear comfy shoes.

I didn't comment on the thinspo stuff back in the day because I didn't feel like it. There's not like some sort of estoppel effect here.

It's true that extreme dieting can be "fixed," but that's like saying obesity can be fixed: both do scientifically proven damage to the body, both arise from an easily controlled variable (diet), and both are somewhat "reversible" in the sense that diet can be corrected. That doesn't mean that both aren't equally stupid things to do.

Keep in mind that there's a decent argument to be made that some of these issues are irreversible. By way of example, if a poster is relatively young, undernourishment could lead to stunted growth. There's some indication in the literature that diet has longer term effects regardless of age, but I'm not super familiar with it.

The homosexuality analogy is misplaced. The HIV/AIDS epidemic was a real thing, but you're referring to a stupid stereotype about homosexuals, who - depending on your politics - aren't making a choice at all. Here, we have a choice, largely aesthetic, with a direct effect on health.

I have absolutely nothing with hardcore dieting, nor do most people outside of fat/insecure American women. There is, however, an extreme form of dieting which is dangerous and should be avoided. That's not particularly controversial.

Ok. Then some light dumbells or kettlebells would be a good call. The exercise band is still a good call, but you can get one with slightly higher tension (you can make it easier or harder depending on how you hold it so don't stress too much).

Like the other dude said cardio and diet will help shred a bit of remaining fat you have, but if you don't exercise you'll just end up with really small fat arms.

Exercises for girls are really easy to find on youtube and a lot of them are pretty solid for a beginner. If you just type in something like "good butt exercises" then you'll get plenty of stuff to work with.

One last tip, you don't have to be worried about getting huge or anything. Women generally don't have enough testosterone to build a significant amount of muscle without serious dedication. Any huge women you've seen are likely on gear, and even the moderately muscular ones worked their asses off for years.
Hitting the weights is just going to tone you up a bit.

Within reason. The main thing is you need a healthy diet in general, so you get all your vitamins and minerals which are harder to get when restricting. Meat is important for things like Zinc, for example, although you can get it other ways. Higher carb is fine but keep it balanced with protein and yes even fat.
