I have been getting into Monocle recently.
Brûlé is an excellent businessman.

Although I know that Monocle is essentially a huge cash machine generating an illusion of pretentous cosmopolitanism - i really like it. Monocle is creating a lifestyle brand with clothes, radio, accessories etc. The mag itself is very expensive + overpriced collabs advertised in the own magazine + lots of adds + even journalistic collabs with big brands + brick stores in Tokyo to NYC, it must be generating incredible amounts of cash with every word written.

Its a cashgrab but still so alluring.
Monocle24 is a great online radio btw.

Oh did it? Damn, I only ever bought one or two magazines as well but it was a nice shop.

I try to buy from The Outpost there in Winn Lane because I like the owner and the concept and I worry he doesn't get many customers.
Ben's Burgers' quality has gone to shit though.

My favourite English language scientific magazine. Short, concise and very well written.

The style of writting is different from US publications (and less ads). Generally prefer British written magazines to US mags. Cannot really explain it.
