Poor fag with a question here. Unfortunately I cannot afford to splash the cash on Common Projects or Story Et Fall or Slp chelseas. However I really want some nice looking khaki boots. So far I'm considering shoe the bear ones (pic related), also considering Hawkings McGill suede, Base London Suedes, and Kurt Geiger Tan suedes. Let me know which is best, also any recs are welcome.

I have the black calf leather ones.
The leather quality is great. There is a sizing chart on the site.
My feet are weirdly shaped and i sized half a size down. I would recommend to do so.
If you are not used to leather outersoles it will take a little while to get used to.
Otherwise not much.
They are not as sleek as SLP´s but they till look great compared to shoes that are twice the price.
Be wary of taxes

The height calculation is very basic and crude, your weight in kilos + 100, then see if it matches with your height in cm (for example a 82kg person should be at least 182cm).

50kg and 30" is fairly normal, but I know men who have as low as 26". It depends on your height. If you are over 180cm, you are extremely underweight.

Yeah they have a leather sole and that means they are slippery and won't last very long. A cobbler could resole it though.

Also I'm pretty sure they send you rubber soles that a cobbler can attach to the shoe. (and toe caps)

I was going to get Dr. Martens 1460s, but because I'm 5'10 and about 155 I think they'd look silly.

Are Chelsea's better suited to thinner guys? I'm looking for some black, casual boots that I can wear close to everyday. I don't think I'd be able to wear Chelsea's in shorts like I could with Martens though. My calves are fairly skinny btw. My body seems to concentrate all my fat in my belly.

Chelseas work well with a slim silhouette, but if you think you are too chubby for them I would avoid them, so maybe the 1460 would be a better choice (get the monos though).

That said, you cant wear either shoe with shorts (except for 1460 on a festival).

What do people think of Shoe the Bear ones as alternatives to the SeF? I cant be bothered to wait or pay the duties. Also surely Portuguese shoes are superior in quality to Vietnamese ones? or am I completely off the mark?
