i guess you just have to have similar hair...
most people's hair naturally starts getting wavy after a certain point.
he also probably whips his hair on stage a lot which may shape hair follicles (responsible for making hair curly, straight etc)

It's easy to get in a slump with hair & keep the shit the same for a long time. Then, it's hard to change it, 'cause it feels like it's an essential part of your or like a signature thing.

Don't be surprised if when you try something new, you hate your life and can't look in the mirror, then relapse into growing back your old style or whatever.

figured this would be the right place to ask
So I'm doing no poo for about a month now and I can't really see any progress
I shower daily and always wash my hair with water, haven't used shampoo a single time since I started, I slightly toweldry it when I get out of the shower and let the rest just dry off by itself.
The problem is, my hair is still "thin" flat and lacks texture, I'm also using gel daily to give it at least some volume and texture.
What am I doing wrong?

Is my haircut good? Growing it a bit. I like the front (Up left and up right pic), but my head it's kinda large in the back and in that part I have a fucking whorl, my hair grows upright and thick (red circle), any ideas on how to fix this?
Should I just do a disconnected undercut also?

Finally found a really nice barber who understands how each person's hair grows differently and he did a really good job of cutting a simple cut that suits my face shape. I can't find any real flaws. And he told me that I wasn't actually balding, and spent about 10 minutes fully explaining a maturing hairline. Felt great after getting my hair cut for once

I currently have hair that goes down to mid back. It's ok, healthy, natural blond, straight with a slight wave, fine but a lot of hair. It's cut in a v shape and i got ever so slight layers. Lately i've been bored with them, since i can't do any up-do's and such. I get massive headaches. Pondering to just cut it to shoulder length. My bf isn't stoked, he loves my hair. But meh, it will still be long and feminine and i'm so bored with it! What do you think about pic related?

Sorry best recent pic I have right now, it's basically a relatively classically styled (using matt wax though) haircut but the back and sides have gotten too long.

Looking to do something different with it. I dyed the ends a while ago and got sick of keeping it up, but I can't decide whether to dye it all back to black or go bleach blond for a change. Also looking for any suggestions for a new cut.
