Hey /fa/,

I'm in search of some pointed, more androgynous/feminine men's boots. I'm 5'10 and pretty skinny, so I have a hard time pulling off clunky/heavy boots.

The only boots I found that I really liked were from SLP's current collection, and Zanotti's collection a long time back. They're quite expensive though, so I'm looking for a more affordable pair of boots in that style.

Dumping pictures of boots I like: beneath

Fair, the ones with the buckle look a little nicer, and the heel is shorter, too. I think the heel in the first picture was 3.3", which is probably pretty hard to pull off.

In this picture: more Zanotti

not sure what you mean by robocop. I'm trying to show you some of the boots I like, in case you've seen a similar pair of boots that is more affordable (most of the boots I've shown run well over $1k retail).

TLDR I'm looking for (affordable) boot recommendations.

It's a more meme way to say "cop" used in w2c where to cop.

weew srysly? if you one high heeled chelseas then I hope you have small feet like me (size 6) because if you want afforable higher than normal chelseas you are going to have to look in the girl's section.

I doubt common fast fashion (afforable) stores have that kind of chelseas. Without a doubt, just fuck it... Buy girls, no joke don't be scared, don't be a faggot. If they look good it's a cop.

noice, can you recomend any minimalistic watch with a vibe like that?

i recomend you trying the womens boot, ofc its a diferent build and the sizing is different but its worth the try, but youcan get a regular chelsea and take it to a cobbler and ask him to replace tthe heel with a slightly bigger heel or just try slimmer chelseas, the problem with the regular mid tier chelseas is that they´re chunky as fuck

you can try changing the hem ratios to balance your lower proportions

Vacheron Constantin, Jaeger LeCoultre, and Patek are the only brands I can think of that deliver that watch's kind of vibe.

I've attached a Junghans watch that is in some sense similar, but a little more minimalist. Let me know if this is something you like.

the thing with SLP is that the materials are rather expensive or at least pretend to be (the leather used is goat skin, more expensive than cow or pig leatheer) but also the fact that they´re SLP makes them more expensive, most high end stuff price is composed by 10% material, 30% labour and shipping and the rest is pure brand, thats why if you can find something similar cheaper but in the same quaality you should go for it, brands are just that, brands

Sure, I understand why SLP boots are priced at their level.

However, I would expect that other brands would undercut SLP on the part of the price that is mostly due to brand: I would expect boots of equivalent quality to be available for less, from lesser-known brands.

The whole "you get what you pay for" thing still rings true for SLP and other designer brands. You do pay a large amount for prestige/branding, sure, but their shoes are really of a distinguishing quality. Just look at reviews/unboxings ffs.

A brand to which what you say really does apply is Hermes. Their prices are fucking absurd. I'm sure they make a top quality product, but holy fucking shit 5-7k for a bag?

>> No.10658109

>>10658082
Funny: I've recently been trying to buy two Hermes belts. The amount of trouble I've had trying to get the belt kits I wanted in-store/on-line is simply absurd. I've easily wasted six hours dealing with the most incompetent customer service.

The best part? The leather belt straps themselves aren't much better than the fakes. (The buckles, however, are.) Feeling the leather, etc. I was surprised how similar it was to the $50 fake straps I've felt.

>> No.10658141

Importantly: that's not to say that the Hermes leather felt cheap, plasticky, or anything else like that. The leather was of a high quality, and very finely treated.
