Hi, do you think I should sew a back patch on this parka? I'm really hesitating
If so, what kind of scheme/colour?

>> No.10627624

>>10627620
Personally, I´m a big fan of back patches so I say go for it.
I´d start with finding out what you want thematically and not with the color scheme. There´s lots of different options in term of color but lots (and I mean almost all of them) of patches look tacky to me. Don´t go for something "ironic" or "nerdy" or whatever. You´ll end up looking like an idiot.

Colors that work with this: black, dark brown, burgundy probably

Thanks for your advice, I was hesitant because the front seems really "charged" (don't know a better term), and a backpatch would overcharge it, I'm going to look for a patch that's suit it!

>> No.10627678

>>10627672
Well the front is a little busy and a more understated parka would look better. I just assumed this is your only option. I´d say a patch should work anyway (depends on what patch ofc)

A backpatch would work since it's an obvious milsurp jacket. That said, a typical "black cotton square with some graphic" would look bad imo. I'd go for an embroidered backpatch, something like pic related but not necessarily a tiger.
