What is the appeal of Raf Simons? I rarely see decent fits with these shoes. You might walk down the street in some of these, and maybe 1 person out of the 100 you pass will recognise, and the other 99 will just think you bought your shoes from some cheap chinese boutique for $8.99.
They do get a lot of love in some circles though - can someone please explain this to me?

if you can take a course with B. Chan, do it. he's arguably one of the best lecturers. super chill, really friendly. incredibly clear with the lecture material. another good one is A. Dixon.

if you're a theoretical kinda guy, i recommend L Hafer and B. Bart.

I strongly recommend taking MACM 101 and CMPT 225 with B. Bart. It will be hard, but worth it -- his brute force teaching style will make 3rd and 4th year courses MUCH easier especially if you take upper division classes with him.

Enroll in co-op.

Join a lab, get some research under your belt.

People say S. Pearce is a terrible lecturer, but if you actually ask him questions and go to his office hours you'd understand so much more. (That goes with all professors though.)

First year is the funnest year.
Second year everything is boring and slow.
Third year things are a little more interesting.
Fourth year? Holy fuck this shit is cool.
