Norse Projects Lindisfarne, got it this week. Yet to see how cold I can go. I always layer anyway so I'm not concerned much but I'm still interested. The fit is great though, I was really worried because I ordered it blind but it turned out really well.

Guy with the Norse here, look at Patagonias. I quite liked the 3-in-1 they had, but I ultimately liked the light weight and style of the Norse more. I was also looking at the Stormdrift model but at the time I was in Calgary and they didn't stock those. The 3-in-1 had a great fit imo, was surprisingly not bulky and was high quality.

There's a corporate Patagonia store downtown, you can go take a look.

How's it holding up? I copped a NF last year, warm as hell but just wasn't fitting in with my style unfortunately. It's like, I really like Acronym jackets, but I only own so many clothes that could go with the tech feel of it, that's why deciding on a coat is seemingly difficult for me

Look at Burton maybe? I had a similar jacket by Burton last few years, found it in the Bay, but I dunno if they make them anymore. Cotton exterior, sherpa inside, polyester filling. I found it satisfactorily warm.

Don't need to really, have a casual jacket for the rain, a rain proof overcoat, a warm bomber, and a pea coat.

The only regrettable choice really is the peacoat. Bought it three years ago in high school. No cut in the back so it rides up when you sit down, has a hood, has unfunctional breast pockets, the zipper broke last winter.

If I was going to get anything, it'd be a light down like >>10588640 with a hood to layer under my bomber or overcoat should it rain and I dont want to carry around an umbrella.

It's the Adidas Civillian jacket. Discontinued in that style but it's still around on eBay and stuff. It's a proper snowsports jacket though, so it's quite stiff because of all the waterproof material. But half the reason I bought it was that it looks like a normal jacket anyway so I could wear it out and about

80g of synthetic insulation should be okay even if it's shit, unless you're somewhere really cold.

Problem is it's probably short filament and won't last too long. I used to think synthetics were better, which they are for performance if you don't care about weight, but when I started living somewhere I needed an insulator for hours a day for months on end they just don't last.

this is the resolve jacket, right? if so I have the exact same one but in boys XL, it looks really nice but is really thin, not a winter jacket at all. they do an insulated version but I don't have any experiance with it.
reason I got the boys XL is because It was £50 cheaper and has 3M reflective logos which I prefer over the embroidered ones
