if you made a place for yourself in the London tattoo scene (which is super over-saturated with talent btw) you probably wouldn't appreciate dummies on /fa/ paying someone else to trace a stencil and put that stolen piece on you for life.

i don't care one hoot about scenes or anything like that. i don't feel any specific need to champion the guy who originally drew my tattoo, i like the way it looks and that's that. if someone asks who did my tattoo i'll tell them. but i'm not about to go and email the artist for their approval before i get one. just sounds like pretentious artists being pretentious artists to me.

not that guy but when I went for my last one we were talking about how he knows plently of other artists who are, he also got me to send a deposit through paypal before he designed mine.
