my hair is blonde and really thin and rare, should I even bother letting it grow out?

I keep it buzzed but I was thinking of giving it one more shot since I'm going coccon mode over the winter anyway.

I have to wash it daily with shampoo and comb it like each hour to even hope it looks decent. is it worth it?
