Seriously, how can /fa approve this piece of clothing?

It's uncomfortable, the fabric usually snags, the collar is pretentious, the shirts themselves are just fucking UNAPPEALING.

What message does one convey by wearing these? Is it to imply that one is wealthy by owning said shirt?

Because other than that, I can't see why anyone in their right mind would own one.

I really fucking hope no one approves of that one. A lot of them a really gaudy and you should only wear simplistic polos. They can fit into a lot of aesthetics well though (not mine, but yeah).

They're also simplistic and work with pretty much any pants

polos are incredible. a well fitting polo is probably the best and most versatile shirt in your wardrobe. looks amazing with boat shoes and tapered jeans, looks amazing with shorts and a button down. dont ever bd mouth polo shirts again or i will hunt you down and out shsihkabob skewers through your eyeballs bitch.

No polos can look all right, but only solid colored ones or with piping. And of course they have to be slim-fit.

Hooped/stripy polos like in that pic look like shit. Most of the monkeys where I live wear them with the uniform of nike runners or leather slip-ons, surfer-brand jeans and crew cuts. Makes me sad really.
