Hey /fa/, got my Achilles Low today and really love them. Sizing is really weird though - I sized down for length and it's okay now (was afraid of clown shoes), but it's quite narrow on sides and top. Will leather break and they will be nice to wear or should I size up?

Neither pairs of my CPs has stretched noticeably since I purchased them. It's normal for the metatarsal bone in your foot to pop out a little - if it's a problem to you, loosen the laces. As far as I'm concerned with my own shoes, I would make sure the shoes 1) give enough room for my toes and 2) don't bend odd when I walk as ill-fitting shoes can have weird creases.

Well, I have no room at all and even laces are a bit too short.

It's painful around toe area, though there is some space between my toe and end of the shoe, my whole foot is caged.

size up in this case. even if they break in they will stay uncomfortable at best ; if you drop 350 bucks on shoes at least make them fit

size up!

Looking at my own CPs, I see now how short your laces are. You should consider sizing up. It might save you some headache in the future.

are those even CPs? why is the outsole so thin?

They fit TTS - all size guides on websites say so. You shouldn't have fallen for the size down meme.

You're wrong though.

He's right. I wear size 8.5 and wear 42 (9) in CPs. They fit perfectly.

don't size up unless you have unusually wide feet just loosen the laces at the bottom of the shoe. i had the same problem. but now they feel great takes time to break it in

Return them, CPs fit TTS.

Then why do mine fit TTS and websites say to take your normal size?

They definitely do not fit true to size

Well my frame of reference (my feet and CPs) say otherwise.

They definitely do fit that way for me.

>> No.10467751

your CPs will stretch eventually, stuck with it

if you have wide feet expect slight sole warping at the widest part of your foot, it's something people forget to mention when they say size down

Maybe you guys just have wide feet, then they fit tts. They dont't fit true for people with 'normal' and narrow feet. Also my feet and my frame of reference say that they don't fit true.
