Get some nicer fitting jeans, they are way to baggy. They don't need to be tight, but slim against you.

Consider new shoes. Nothing wrong with converse, but they don't really go with the outfit.

Polo is alright. Looks cheap but probably because it's surrounded by low quality stuff.

Lose weight. Brutal, I know, but if you want a sure way to look better without any confusion then start working out. Everybody looks better when they less chubby.

Altogether I don't think the look is have bad. If everything fitted better and was perhaps of higher quality, it would look great.

If you want to keep dressing like you do right now, keep wearing what you like, but if you want to make a change you should let go of old ideas of what looks good and actually listen to us.

Lose weight
Get better fitting pants. They don't have to be skinny but at least some tapered black jeans.
Invest on better shoes. Converse are for teenage girls and even fashion normies cringe at them. At the worst get some vans, at best look into higher fashion sneakers (geobaskets, Raf Simons velcroes, y-3 qasa, KVA multilaces, even CDG all stars are better than regular converse)

A basic fit is just black sneakers, black jeans and a white tee. Or black jeans, black t shirt and white sneakers.

Get a haircut.
