I'm not sure but I saw we are spirits trapped in a human body, and that we also exist and can communicate on another plane, like a network where (some, don't know who) are connected. I spoke with some friends who welcomed me. It was very realistic. My girlfriend had the same experience on another occasion, meeting some people. They told me they had watched me and they were happy and amused, telling me how I took so long, as I just had to... wake up. The point came deep in a trip, where I thought, "What happens... I feel like I could turn my mind off. If I do that... how to regain consciousness... will I die?". I thought, it's impossible that I die. So I tried. It felt like dying, but then, *bam* I was in another place... it was completely clear. A few of my friends greeted me, they were very happy I made it. They were the sort of people that I know to be deep thinkers or that have been taking acid. I decided to return anyway, I think that is the place where I will go after death anyway. What was amazing is that my girlfriend had almost exactly the same trip. We had not talked about the trips until one night I started to tell the story, her face suddenly looked very surprised, almost frightened... so we shared details and the trips were the same. We had not seen the Matrix or read anything that would suggest a dream like that. Plus, I have hallucinated but that was definitely exactly as real-feeling as real life and the converstions with my friends were meaningful and believable, also their reactions to my awakening. I am a skeptic by heart but I have no way of explaining that. Maybe there is something out there. I don't know but that was my vision.

Yeah. It seemed to be so that all the stupid things we do here... we tell lies, we do anything stupid... the reason for that seemed to be being trapped in a human body with all the needs of a complex animal like a human, in such a weird environment for an organism to live in. Hard to adjust. In the Other side, there were no secrets. There was no need for that. No need for anything. There was only being. At first I was ashamed, as I could look into my life and I know that we shared the same consciousness in a way, at least I know that my friends and girlfriend knew all my secrets. But they understood, they smiled at me when I looked very ashamed and I realized it did not matter anymore.
The trip made me a lot more aware of my physical well-being. I've lost a healthy bit of weight and gained some muscle, also I'm studying more. And I'm happy to have been there. I have seen glimpses of it again, but going there is quite consuming and the transition feels frightening. I can feel how I die on this side, and I feel anxiety because I remember that this here is more of a dream world, and I don't want to get too much into that. Maybe it would be shattering to someone. I can take it. But I've been to the edge, and did not want to go there. I have time. I will visit again, but not right now.

Your hallucinations are a reflection of whatever your mind accumulates, and the fact that people see similiar things while tripping can be explained by pretty much the same social conditioning we get and the nature of biological species having the same archetypical concepts like big scary clawed monsters scare us, colorful sunny things make us feel good etc.

feeling of connectedness is caused by intense dissociation of your body paired with apophenia that is definitely heightened during tripping.


I have tripped countless times myself and it did change my life in more than one way, but to assume your hallucinations on a drug as basis of understanding reality is just intellectually dishonest and delusional.

bottom line: such experiences should not be taken as proof for anything except the complexity of the human mind and the mystery of relationship between the subjective and the objective.
