some women have hair thats a pain in the ass to make presentable on the daily. cutting it means being able to wake up a half hour later. losing the disincentive to exercise, since it means having to do the whole hair process over again. and if they have kids, theres even less time and opportunity to mess with it.

short hair is functional. long hair is a luxury. and if a woman is at a stage or age in her life where she's not trying to impress anyone or attract a mate, why bother? because at a certain age, everyone looks pretty rough, and you realize how little looks determine who you want to spend time with.
