I think 90s throwback is in its peak so you wont be alone in finding them nostalgic/cool right now. I actually think despite all that though the shoe is actually beautifully balanced in terms of colour, although I would find it hard to wear without being a little matchy.

In the UK these are the typical lad shoes and are generally worn by pricks.

Personally I like the design but they are so over played over here by idiots that I wouldn't consider wearing them...

If they're not played out in your area though, go for it.
