honestly in most colleges you can get by doing about 14 credits per semester. That's usually two or three classes per day. You have far more control over your schedule (for example on MWF for me, my first class isn't until 1:25PM) and you don't get a lot of homework. Most of the time it's studying or reading, and your only real "grades" come from tests and projects. Also grading is awesome, most professors will drop your lowest exam grade at the end of the semester, some have a grading scale that puts an A- as low as 88%, etc.

Just something to think about if that's the only reason you are not interested. Believe me, it is nothing like high school.

if your college/uni offers any other IT degrees besides CompSci look into them. a lot of times computer information management will be available, or depending on the specialization of the school even security or other majors which aren't as math intensive.
