Will clothes that hobbits wear even be in fashion? Nice, loose clothing and waistcoats/blazers, stuff like that? It looks comfy as hell.

>> No.10325348

I hope not.

I don't like loose fitting clothes. I just don't understand how some people view them as fashionable.

Well, I work outside in the heat. It's nice having loose fitting clothes and not pants that squeeze my nuts.

Fair enough. But in a more "controlled" environment... come on now.

i live in the english countryside and old men dress like this all the time, albeit with a little less professional flair
that linen shirt is gorgeous though

Is there anything I can google that will give me an example of what the old men wear? Do they just wear it everywhere or for a certain reason?

This is one of the results I got when I searched for "english countryside fashion." Similar?

also it's mainly wealthy older gents who wear this sort of stuff. a lot of farmers and such around here who usually just wear boring waterproof stuff because of their jobs

also british countryside was very much in fashion with hipsters about two years ago, it's died down a little but still around

WADKAWKDHKAWDHKAWD I am a retard.

I live in America, but in a rural area. I get what you're talking about with the boring waterproof stuff as most people here wear Carhartt clothes. While nice, I don't find that comfortable or a style I want to emulate myself.

yeah probably, which country are you in? Clothes like this are really easy to find here, barbour jackets and waist coats and stuff.
It's not hard to emulate, just get some cotton pants, linen shirts and waist coats, have it all tailored as most of this stuff is made to fit old guys (loose and totally shapeless) and bam you've done it

I like this as well. looks very neat.
but then again, it's a flashy theatre costume for a reason.

America, but the rural south. I will try, and thank you for the help.

>>10325675

I understand that it's theatre costume and all that, but I really like the look. I work outside, so I think it won't look too, too out of place except maybe a waistcoat and the shirt, but I think I can substitute linen with cotton since it's hot where I am.

I do landscaping/gardening (in a different way than most) and I think this will also set me apart. It won't look too bad, I hope.
