I know the price is fucking ridiculous. Probably double what a non-collab porter set would cost.

This is exactly what I want in a pair of bags.

But for nearly a grand, I feel like I should be getting more.

I mostly use my Rain weekender and samsonite suitcase when I travel. All the electronics go in my Thom Browne duffle.

I saw it on Shopstyle when I was looking for a duffel/weekender for my clothes, and I liked this one. I'm a swimmer, so I need it to fit my all my things if I go away for a meet. So yeah, the style is not unwarranted.

That's a good reason. 90% of the bags posted on /fa/ are school bags though. Just wanted a place to discuss travel-oriented bags. Judging by the unpopularity of this thread compared to backpack threads, most people here do what you do.

Of course. There's nothing particularly feminine about duffles or nautical stripes.

If you won't feel confident with it, or are worried about how it will work with your fits, go with something more neutral. But from what you said, this bag is perfectly fitting for the occasion.

Yeah. LV did a limited edition full set of luggage with that pattern like 7 years ago. verytroubledchild started selling his own a few years ago (just bags), and they were apparently decent, but I think he got a cease and desist. There are dodgy knockoffs around but they look like cheap shite.

Like this in the abstract, but not sure when I'd use it. To nitpick, the blue ruins it for me. Zipper pulls are removable, so no biggie, but the loops for the shoulder strap aren't. Just one color too many for me. Makes it too playful. A lot of Topo designs are like that. Well-designed, nice colors/materials, just one too many accents.

Tbh, it's hard to give a rec without some constraints (budgetary, style, material). It sounds like you want something larger than a trad. camera bag, but not necessarily large enough for a laptop? And I assume a shoulder strap?
