Thought about making custom patch from this, just the cat.
However the smallest runs are probably going to be pretty large, so just a poll:

Also, no need to be bitter. The masterpost is just a general directory containing all links ever posted. It's just something to fall back on. Furthermore, the links are hardly "tired and same old", we only have these threads like once a month. Look into the archive, every thread is vastly different from the last in terms of pictures posted and OC generated. Only the masterpost is a constant.

Don't come here asking for someone to do your dirty work. Besides, who knows what you're looking for better then you?

Go to ebay, type in "[KEYWORD] patch". Select worldwide. Select "free shipping". Potentially arrange price from low to high. You'll come across something sooner or later. The chase is better than the catch.

What was the name of the jackets with the german flag patches on them? I think they came standard on them with the brand.

Bundeswehr Flecktarn Parka. It's not a brand it's actual military surplus. The German flags are there because the parkas are part of German Army uniform.

The tiger varsity is not Raf Simons, it's an old Ralph Lauren season.

Is there a place that sells very large unstructured patches or at least semi thin/flexible patches? Cost is not an issue, I'd just want something like this Raf jacket with the large patch on the side, but that's looks to be a stitched fabric print and not a patch.

God its just hilarious to think of when you'll be confronted by a veteran, or the grimace and head shaking that a veteran will be subject to seeing your pathetic pimpled form decorated with war-time emblems. Symbology that could have meant a lot to the members of the unit or team and you just buy replicas on ebay and shitpost on 4chan mocking people who's balls contain enough mass to gravitationally attract your 140lbs body.

Do i go the punk way with floss with this? The contrast between the fabrics is kind of apparent so maybe the white wouldnt hurt.
The middle parts are sewn with black thread like inbetween the black on the skull.

Never go for the crust look. Besides, it'll clash with your backpack. Just sew it in with black thread and keep the focus on the patch, not the "crusty" sewing.

i used to do it, now i think it looks terrible when its used to much. sadly i figured that out halfway through my pants.
now i almost only use it for quick repairs or when i run out of thread when i am allmost done sewing the patch (only on my pants atleast)

still still need to re-sew some of the patches on my pants since its just to much.

back on tipic, i made myself this Antisect patch last night. pretty satisfied with it.

The black stitching looks miles better than the white. It adds to the texture and doesn't obnoxiously contrast from it.

Noob questions:

Are the majority of good patches iron-on or sewn on? Or both?

Patches seem to be able to be placed on a lot of different materials (i.e. denim, leather, polyester, nylon). Are there any materials where it would be inadvisable to put a patch on?

Any general tips on patch placement? Also, are there any rules of thumb you guys follow when placing patches?

A lot of these look like iron ons, but you always wanna sew on your iron-ons, or otherwise use extra stickey shit on the back of the patch.
The fuckers always look stuck until they aren't, then you're out a patch, or look like a dingus with one half off

I did mine badly here >>10306325, but if I took my time or used another thread color, you'd get all the protection of a sew on, but with the look of iron on
