Owning only one outfit

Anyone here wear the same outfit every day?

Why or why not?

If so, do people notice / comment on it?

I'd like to do this but I don't want to look like an autist, and even if I picked a perfect outfit, the desire for variety would trick me into thinking I could've done it better and so I'd keep changing it and start spending even more on clothes since I'd have to buy multiples of everything.

No matter how many shirts I own, there's always ONE that's my favorite. Somehow it's way better than all the others. If I'm not wearing my favorite shirt, my day isn't going to be AS good as it would have been had I been wearing my favorite shirt. This tends to happen with other garments as well.

If all your shirts are the same, you don't have this issue.

I am doing it right now because its so fucking hot that I cant wear anything else of my wardrobe. Its actually pretty funny. Spring, fall, winter I am constantly being asked why I dress so well/formal. But in summer, with it being 35 degrees right now, I wear a pair of shorts and basically the same shirt every fucking day.

Parisian closet is probably the best compromise. Own a singular look, but give yourself some room to change things up depending on circumstances.

I honestly really like this idea. Been thinking about it for awhile. You would definitely get noticed after a while. The fit would definitely have to represent you pretty well. As in you would not want it to be too memey.

Even if you only wear one outfit you're bound to have different shirts. I'm sure that guy in OP's pic is wearing different sweaters in all three pictures even though they are all black. (in fact, one is a turtleneck while the others are not).

I have about six light blue oxford button downs but I'll always have a favorite one.
