That's tough. Top ones look like they might be better quality but that's just a wild guess. I'd say the bottom ones look slightly nicer but it's hella close. If your wardrobe is more neat go for the bottoms, if your wardrobe is more rough go for the tops

Vans his are decent and safe if you're looking for high tops. I'd recommend getting neutral colours such as black and white, since they go with most fits and tend to be the better choice for everyday use

I disagree, I think trends affect everyone to some degree. For example, I have long hair that is often unruly. In order to control it, I have to tie it up in a bun. When I do that, I'm involuntarily lumped in with the Manbun trend. While this doesn't bother me much, as I don't particularly care what others think of my style choices and dress for myself, that image pretty much changes the perception of my entire style. I don't mind people seeing one or two aspects and acknowledging them, but in my case the manbun is such a theme in pop culture that it automatically influences how people see my whole look, which is not ok.

Similarly, when I see someone wearing Air Maxs, Stan Smiths, low white CPs or generally white shoes like the ones that anon had interest in, it automatically makes me kind of assume they're a trend-riding fuccboi. It's not intentional by any means, it's just what my mind snaps to.

Sorry for the essay, I've had this point misinterpreted before and I wanted to be clear. I might be wrong, but at least I'm clear.
