Really need some advice for waterproof and warm boots that aren't completely bulky or not for winter at all like chelsea's.

Sup. I need to pick some pieces up for fall/winter and I could use some suggestions.

Firstly, I need some new boots. I live in Michigan, so they have to be practical (considering our weather).

Secondly, I've been interested in getting a black overcoat. Something minimalistic, slim, and with somewhat of an unconstructed look.

Lastly, what's a good brand for sweaters/jumpers? I was thinking of getting at least two. My only problem is I need something thick enough to keep me warm, but small enough that it won't have a baggy look and so that I can layer with it.

Depends. Weather here is pretty wonky. Two winters ago (during that crazy cold front) we had snow drifts up to our waists and homless people freezing to death. I was working security at an old Ford plant one night when the cold front hit and nearly every car in our parking lot died. I was jumping cars for hours. Shit was miserable.
