I wanna get into pinrolling, works with what kind of pants?

I have some straight jeans, isn't too baggy?
Works better on slim?

I've got no inspo because I don't like it, but I think out of all the options that it looks best with slim jeans and a chunkier shoe. Think NB or Rafidas silhouette. I also think you should roll it a few inches above your shoe to show sock/ankle.
