Don't know shit about fashion, what jeans do i get if I want to look like this fine gentleman? I've got bit legs and arse....if that changes anything. How do you do the thing at the bottom of his jeans?

I would appreciate general tips about how to get this look... Also advice on trousers/jeans for muscly legs

>> No.10177873

those look a little less tapered than 511s, they could be similar to a Lucky Brand fit.

Also are you being serious about cuffing? You literally just roll the pants up at the hem

>> No.10177877

>>10177869

just buy everything at a hipster thrift store that is almost 1 size too big for shirts, really really dirty pants and vans

not too hard brah, u got this

ha, yeah i literally no nothing (fashion wise) i've just been fumbling through clothes my whole life. You may have to give your answers in noob form

You'll want a straight leg cut. Other than that, no one here can help you. Dressing well is a very individual activity and can be cancerous and expensive. You're a normie, leave this place and continue being normie. Your question tells me you have a lot more things you should be asking first. Just leave.

no need to be like that

I sort of have to get tapered jeans cause my quads are stupidly big and I think anything else looks weird. Like the size that fits my upper leg would flare at the ankles

then read the sticky, fuccboi. And lurk. You're not going to look good or dress even remotely well overnight. It takes a few weeks of thought and work.

The exact jeans are faded and well-worn Wrangler 936s. You can tell by the felled outseams, the fit, and occasionally you can catch a glimpse of the copper rivets in certain pictures. He also wears Levi's 501s.
If you have a squat ass you should opt for 13MWZs instead, I've found they're a little more relaxed in the seat.

Just straight leg, mid rise, you can buy them a uniform blue and wear them a lot to fade them or buy them prefaded

The bottom of the jeans is just bended or cuffed whatever, they are both correct terms. Just bend the fabric up two or three times and put some glue underneath the fold

Do you faggots actually glue your pants? Please don't do this.

>> No.10180188

>>10180184
Well I keep them like that all the time, so I might as well glue them. It keeps them set when I put them in the washing machine too. I thought other people did it too? How else would they get them to stay up? It would be annoying to do them up every day

>> No.10180191

Is there anyone who thrifts estimate how long it would take to recreate this fit? In the spirit, rather than the letter...

>> No.10180192

Just.. Keep them rolled up? I've never had a problem with it.

>> No.10180206

>>10180192
I understand but it was just getting annoying, I wash my jeans every couple if days and they keep getting undone so I glued them, it's that strong permenant glue so I don't have to worry about it for a long time

I just roll them up, m8. Or get them tailored.

Oh that's actually a good idea, I don't think I can afford the money to pay a tailor though haha, ive heard they are quite expensive I think I'll stick to the glue mate pun intended

Theres a chink in the mall with a sign above them that says 'Alterations'. They'll do it for $10. Or, if thats too much for you, you can get a needle and thread and do it yourself for less than $1

>> No.10180244

They don't have those in England also I think 10 dollars is something like £20 which is too much, I'm currently out of work

Not bait but I'm poor, I can afford £20 but I'm not gonna spend that on jeans, I already bought them for that much, I'm not gonna spend double that or even more to do something I can do with glue,

$10 is like £6

There are alterations places everywhere

Underage or immense lack of real world experience detected

Oh shit, well glue costs me £1 from poundland and is permenant
And I know where a tailor is, but not about prices. They don't have any in local shopping centers though

>> No.10180449

Well if this is the noob question thread: if I want a similar look with my jeans, do I buy them slightly longer, knowing that I will roll the bottom up, or do I just buy a normal pair and wear them lower?
I ask because when I have attempted this in the past, there is a lot of sag in the quad/hamstring region which looks really "sloppy".
Any tips appreciated

>> No.10180467

>>10180449
just buy them slightly longer

>sag in the quad region
it helps to have a pair with a "retro" fit to them - aka tighter in the thighs and looser in the calves.
this is usually pretty successful at eliminating thigh flare.
