I hate the majority of Nike and Adidas designs. Very few appeal to me, and the ones that do are played out or expensive enough to bar my access. Examples of this respectively include the AF1 and the Rick-Adidas or Raf-Adidas. NB and Converse are too standard to be interesting.

I would like a thread to discuss alternate footwear styles and brands, mainly focusing on pieces that are variable enough such that they arent exclusive to a particular color scheme or theme (such as goffninja or palewave).

Ill open with these Shoes Like Pottery beige hightops. Im looking at purchasing a pair. While they look similar to converse shoes, I believe they have enough positive differences to warrant picking these up. I especially like the subtle rubber pimsoll, contrasting the rather prominant one of the standard converse, as well as vans and eytys.

What interesting shoes do you know of, /fa/ggots?

interesting idea for a thread OP, sadly I can not contribute much

pic related are shoes called "The Rosen" by a brand called Greats. I liked them because there's very few branding on them and they seemed a nice alternative to New Balance, at 49$ a pair they're cheap af too

But even then, just looking at the comparison of the OP picture and the picture you posted, I can see a number of differences. It's like saying that there's no difference between a pair of Raf Simons' pants and a pair of pants from my local mall.
Heel height, lacing style, eyelet placement/color, shoe color, rubber 'coverage', toebox, silhouette, texture, stitching all jump out at me when comparing the two shoes.
