Issey Miyake x Jasper Morrison "Please" watch.Insipired by the famous folded dress by Miyake. Amazing. Wearing it atm and Im super happy with it. Great history behind it too.

I love swatch but do not cop. it ticks as loudly as shitty timex watches because the plastic case doesn't filter sounds from the movement as well.
the swatch irony line doesn't have that problem.

I kinda wanna buy this swatch blue suit but I realized I don't really like minimalist features and I don't like sticks instead of numerals.

I can attest to this. I got the "Daily Friend". I liked it because it had the clear plastic case, thought it was interesting materials treatment.

God was I wrong. I don't even wear the thing, let alone take it out of its box in my wardrobe. That thing ticks so loudly I can hear it even when I'm wearing headphones.

I've seen the Daily Friend swatch. I really like the design. It's such a fucking pity though because it looks great but what does it help if it keeps you up at night because you can't have it next to you, right?

maybe take a look at their swatch Irony Big line. I've been told that the metal case helps a lot muffling the ticking noise. I just hope it's true.
getting a Swatch Skin Chrono (despite being plastic) is worth it too because those don't use any big seconds hands anyway.
If all fails, just go back to Seiko, Citizen and so forth. Quality japanese movements are a lot less noisy. Even better if it's automatic and not quartz.

either way, I'm looking at the Happy Joe Blue at the moment

yeah it definitely has kept me up. that's why I started stashing it inside my desk drawers. that happy joe is pretty nice, I like the numbering on it.

I know it's pretty mall-tier but I really like some of Nixon's designs. Next watch I get will probably one of those tbh.
