get a job to put yourself through college for a lucrative degree. in your last year make your life hell by taking on internships as well. then get a job after you graduate. make good money doing actual work for it. then buy all your stuff to quelch your insecurity or whatever.

you want something, put in the work. it's not easy, as said, it's work. but there are basically guaranteed ways to get a lucrative career. study computer science. boom. 50-100k right out of your 4 year bachelor program, and you'll be choosing from multiple offers.

what's a student job? like a part-time job often filled by students, or one of those unpaid bs workstudy jobs for school credit?

>what if you're not in college yet

then get into college.

honestly it's really irresponsible to spend more than like 5-10% of your income per year on a hobby like 'fashion'. i would say 10% is even really irresponsible.

so basically unless you're making decent money from an actual career-worthy job, then you probably shouldn't be worried about buying designer brands. just buy passable shitty clothes from h&m and uniqlo and focus all of this energy on getting to a place where you earn enough to consider usually being dressed in raf simons, rick owens.

yeah i mean then you're probably not going to have access to the kind of cash necessary to responsibly buy designer shit for a few years unless you get really lucky or have rich parents.

i didn't have the money to buy nice things until my mid-twenties, and even then i spent way too much on nice things. most people on this planet will never have the money to buy nice things in the entire lives, so consider yourself lucky that you actually have a decent chance at getting to that level of comfort in your life. it just takes time and work and luck. but like i said you can make the luck part disappear if you just study something lucrative and in demand.

that being said there are plenty of young people who splurge their minimum-wage paychecks on used designer clothing and barely make their share of rent in a two-bedroom flat split among 13 dudes who all take shits and jerk off in the one bathroom and only have enough money to eat bulk-bought cereal from costco. their priorities are just in a different place.

you'd need to be making 50k per year in excess money.

so whatever your living expenses are + 50k in order to get it in 3 years. so you'd probably have to be making like 70k after taxes per year starting now in order to have 150k spare cash in 3 years.

>Is self-taught computer developing a good idea?

Sure, if you turn out to be good. Many great developers figure things out on their own (but at even an earlier age).

>Or maybe being a freelance artist

Not so much.

You're probably as young as I am, and I don't claim to have everything sorted out at all. But I think you're missing something important. Like the other guy said, you are fantasizing.

You can plan out your life and make moves to afford your sacred birman (whatever that is). For example, investing time into education and marketable skills. That will help you; daydreaming 4chan will not. at least that's how i feel.

>wearing black pants, black boots, and a grey/black shirt is autistic. people irl are laughing at you

So basically everyone in 2015? Have you seen any recent music videos or any popular figures? Black high tops black extra long t-shirts and stacks for days even tricky ricky would be jealous.

Black jeans and black shoes with a grey t-shirt is a pretty generic look.

However I do agree that a large portion of people look like autists on this board with that shit on. That's 'cause they're swagless nerds and no matter what they wear they will look like swagless nerds.
